So much has been going on lately, but I still find time to knit. Unfortunately, I have not stayed focused on one project. What? AuburnMist you say? I haven’t forgotten about my mohair sweater, neither have I worked on it one bit! Never the less I has an excuse. I have been working on “Thermal” and several “Fetchings” from knitty. Also, I knitted my first hat from the top down. I’m really going to focus on a few projects and finish them off! I know you would like to see some proof that I am really working on what I say I am but my camera ran away and I have to adopt a new one. That’s it for now!

AuburnMist (MidnightMist?)

So, a few days ago I started working on a new sweater from Knitter's magazine. Its called AuburnMist. I decided to do this one because it look simple but has a bit of lace detail in the arms and around the neck. This would also be my first attempt at using mohair and yes, size 1 needles! This time im being very carful not to make it to small :)

here is a picture of the mag.

Here is the neck detail...

Here Is what I have so far...

Its a bit fuzzier than I thought it would be, but I think its going to turn out awsome!

WEll, Im off to clean my camera, Its seems my images are quiet cloudy :)

Any ways, Im nitting a cool summer cap for my Dad. the yarn is beautiful, it has a bit of elastic in it so it stretches, the rest is cotton. I cant wait until its finished. Currently I have been working on my Amigurumi (crochet) Dolls. Im selling them on my Etsy shop- Have  a look, and tell me what you think!
Also, if you have any suggestions I like that too!

Knit Purl Pass Out. . . . .

So, I took my knitting to the yarn shop so I could get help putting it together. When I found out my knitting guage was totally off! I made my sweater much to small. My head won't fit my arms wont fit my chest wont fit! I was in shock for about 30 minuets. . . . yah. So, I have decided to tear it down and make a purse out of it :) I don't know when im going to do that but I will! Im still working on my knitted shorts and my sweater. I also started crocheting a very cute head band out of some great sock yarn. My grandma inspired me with a shawl shes making for my cousin.

First Knitted Sweater!

Ok, I finally finished knitting! The pattern came out of a Better Homes and Gardens Learn to Knit book. Not very interesting looking but I decided to do it because it was easy and I wanted the practice. Tomorrow I will head down to the local Yarn Shop(http://www.yarnshoppe.blogspot.com/) and get help on how to put it together! Yahh! I love the color and the yarn. Its wool and its quite soft. I forgot what is was called but I will find out. Look at how it turned out! :) Tell me what you think!

Stinky

It occurs to me that I have the most hyperactive dog in the history of all times. She always has her toy ball in her mouth as if she never sets it down. And each time she sees me she believes it time to play. I feel bad because she an outside dog and it’s been raining for the past two weeks but she has plenty of shelter under the porch and her huge dog kennel. When it gets warmer I will get her a new harness and we can take long walks at the park.
